On Wednesday, Year 5 visited Birmingham Central Mosque. This was part of their RE topic about Islam. We were thrilled with how enthusiastic the children were during their visit. We were lucky enough to visit the community room, classroom and prayer hall where we learnt up to 4000 people can go to pray at any one time. We even had the opportunity to explore this room by ourselves. The faith leader who took us on our tour was really impressed by our children. They were extremely respectful, engaged with everything they were told and asked lots of thoughtful questions. Well done Year 5 for representing our school so well.
