Year 6 were given a fantastic opportunity to listen to music through the ages at Birmingham's world famous Symphony Hall! They went on a journey around the world and listened to a variety of orchestra pieces including Hedwig's theme from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone (2001), Lord of the Dance (1996), Infernal Galoo (Can-Can) from Orpheus in the Underworld (1858) and many more! 

In addition to this, we explored the Birmingham Library and had a talk from a librarian. We climbed thousands of stairs to look at the stunning views at the top and learnt that there are over a million books to read here!
